I was born in the Peterborough area and moved to attend college in Toronto. I spent 20 years in the software industry, traveling throughout the North American continent to provide consulting services to various industries. I was fortunate enough to gain valuable experience in many complex, multi-million dollar deals with high success in customer satisfaction and profitability. Always in the back of my mind was the desire to move back to Peterborough where my wife and I planned to raise our children, with all the benefits that this fantastic area offers. Having many contacts in the real estate industry, I chose EXIT Realty Liftlock, Brokerage because they share the same high quality standards that I have always demanded in my work environment. Jon's journey into real estate began humbly, working as an assistant and gaining hands-on experience by tackling the nitty-gritty tasks alongside his brother, Cameron, and his mother, Judith. In 2009, feeling the call to step into the spotlight, Jon became a full-time REALTOR®, joining forces with Cameron to create a formidable real estate duo. Their reputation soon grew, and they were invited by Deanna Weaver, a seasoned REALTOR® and family friend, to assist in representing one of her most significant clients, Peterborough Homes. Since then, Jon and Cameron have relished the opportunity to serve a diverse array of clients, including Peterborough Homes and Davenport Homes, in all their real estate ventures. Jon’s commitment to the industry extends beyond his clients; he has been an active volunteer on the real estate board, where he has chaired numerous committees, served as a director, and held the esteemed role of President in 2021. Beyond the realm of real estate, Jon holds a degree in English and Philosophy. In his free time, he finds joy in playing the guitar, paddle boarding, hiking, and hitting the ice for a game of hockey.
