Hi, I’m Shirley-but many people call me Shirl’s Your Girl or Shirls! I’ve built my business in Peterborough on a simple but powerful idea: real estate should feel personal, not transactional. Before real estate, I was a police dispatcher, an educator and a community advocate. Those roles taught me how to stay calm in chaos, listen intently, and care deeply about the people I serve. Born in Lindsay Ontario, and growing up in the Kawartha Lakes, I am privileged to call this beautiful area my home. From a young age, I was involved in real estate alongside my Father who builds and designs custom homes and cottages in the Kawarthas. This gave me extensive knowledge of homes and a driving passion for all things real estate! I started my University career in Nova Scotia and completed my Undergraduate Honours Degree at Trent University. I have lived in Peterborough since 2016. While in university I was privileged to play on the varsity rugby team that also put me in a position to volunteer regularly in the Peterborough community. I am passionate about all things health, fitness, and the outdoors. I love spending my spare time doing CrossFit, horseback riding, cycling, and taking my dog for hikes in new places! I am a very compassionate person and am always sure to put my client's needs first. I enjoy making meaningful professional relationships with clients and would be honored to serve you in all of your real estate endeavors.
